DISC Behavioral Assessments

DISC is widely known and used for training and development around the world. Our strategic partner, TTI Success Insights, was the first company to computerize the DISC assessment back in the 1980s and has remained the leader in workplace performance research ever since.

Not all DISC tests are created equal. Our DISC assessment provides results based on 384 profiles derived from 19,000 combinations. This yields an incredibly high level of accuracy that has stood the test of time – nearly 30 million individuals and managers have taken our DISC assessments since its inception. Rigorous statistical analyses have shown our DISC assessment is the most accurate and reliable in the industry.

Our DISC assessment comes in many varieties: Executive, Management-Staff, Team, Sales, Customer Service, Interviewing Insights, and our Talent Insights (DISC paired with workplace motivators).

DISC is a powerful management tool for leaders and I have used it to help resolve difficult and broken employee relationships.

I have an employee who is an off-the-charts S with very low D, and a matrix team partner, a sales representative, that is the complete opposite… an off-the-charts D with very low S. Each had expressed to me that they were “done” working with the other and just couldn’t do it anymore. I know both individuals very well and that the root of their issues were based in communication challenges. DISC gave me the language to explain this dynamic to each of them in a way that made it non-personal. It also allowed them to see each other’s strengths, how their opposite styles were valuable, and how they needed each other. Both of them agreed to adapt their styles and work on improving their communication. I know this wouldn’t have been possible without them looking at their longstanding issues through the DISC lens.

Communication & Collaboration

Understanding your DISC behavioral style is the first step towards mastering communication and interpersonal skills. The profile uncovers what you do that helps or possibly hinders effective communication. The in-depth analysis offers style-specific communication tips that help you to improve workplace relationships and individual results. The insights from DISC are an integral part of our Team Effectiveness and Leadership Development programs.

Professional Development

The DISC profiles reveal incredible insights that will help you to grow professionally.  Your strengths, the value you bring and areas for improvement to be more effective. How you prefer to be managed and motivated.  Communication that works and doesn’t work. How others might perceive you when you are under stress. Adaptations you are currently making to be more successful in your position

Hiring

Research shows interviewing alone is less than 14% effective. Candidates exaggerate on their resumes and tell you what you want to hear. Interviewers have unconscious biases. DISC assessments help to remove the guesswork with objective information on the candidate’s behavioral match for the position.

Behavioral Selling

Most successful Sales Reps know their product and have sales skills, what allows them to get next level is behavioral awareness.  DISC sales training is an excellent starting point.  It helps identify behaviors you exhibit that can help or hinder the sales process. It teaches you how to identify your buyer’s communication style and purchasing habits. You will learn to speak their language, move at the correct pace and ask the right questions to close the deal.
