Emotional Quotient (EQ)

Our Emotional Quotient™ (EQ) assessment measures your emotional intelligence, which is the ability to sense, understand and effectively apply the power and acumen of emotions to facilitate higher levels of collaboration and productivity. Emotional intelligence is comprised of two dimensions: Intrapersonal Awareness (Self-Awareness, Self-Regulation, Motivation) and Interpersonal Awareness(Empathy, Social Skills).

Emotional intelligence matters because 90% of top performers have high EQ, whereas only 20% of low performers have high EQ.

Research consistently shows EQ is highly predictive of success in business and life. We also know EQ is more important than IQ for your career (people with the highest IQs are out-performed 70% of the time by those with average or low IQs). Importantly, EQ can be learned – unlike IQ – making it an excellent focal point for coaching and training.

Coaching & Training

Productivity thrives on excellent self-management skills, communication, and teamwork. By mastering EQ (self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills), you will supercharge your individual performance and increase your career fulfillment..

Selection

Given 90% of top performers have high EQ (versus only 20% of low performers), we find it makes sense to screen for EQ during the job application process. While a full job benchmark is always recommended to achieve your highest hiring confidence, EQ is the single most predictive factor of workplace success.

Succession Planning

One of the strongest predictors of decision-making habits among managers is an assessment of Emotional Quotient (EQ). With a proper baseline taken, mentoring can be provided to succeeding leaders ensuring a smooth transition into their new role.
