Our Coaching Process

Each engagement is custom designed to meet the needs of the individual and organization

Establish Motivation

  • Motivation is the critical component needed to change behaviors

  • Motivation is either driven by inspiration (opportunity) or desperation (negative consequences)

Develop Awareness

  • Recognize behaviors that need to change to impact employee engagement and organizational results

  • Feedback from boss, peers, and direct reports to broaden awareness

  • Feedback is gathered through consultant interviews, 360 reports, or in-person meetings

Set Clear Expectations and Outcomes

  • Alignment of goals and desired coaching outcomes

  • Coaching timeline and structure established – typically 3 to 6 months

  • Define expectations of the coaching relationship

Implement Coaching Methodology

  • GROOW Coaching Methodology – action-oriented and results-driven

  • Goal, Reality, Obstacles, Options and Way Forward

  • Determine most impactful assessments – DISC Behavioral Styles, Workplace Motivators, Emotional Intelligence, and/or 360 reports

Expand Accountability

  • Monthly meetings with boss for progress updates and feedback

  • Check in with direct reports and peers to determine progress and needs

  • Accountability conversations around shortfalls, change needed and action to be taken

Measure Results and Determine Next Steps

  • Did we achieve the outcomes we established?

  • If achieved, what are the next steps and reinforcements

  • If significant progress has been made but not all the goals have been achieved, how will we approach differently to achieve success?

Put Reinforcement Structure in Place

  • Reviews and ongoing discussions with boss

  • Feedback meetings with direct reports

  • Quarterly reinforcement meetings with coach
